Tips: Clear up water stains

As much as you don't want to admit it, your home isn't getting any younger. The pipe may give away over time will little drops and ultimately leave stains on your plaster ceiling.

This can be fixed quickly; follow these simple steps to keep your plaster ceiling brand new look.

Why do you need to fix it?

  1. Make your house looks beautiful.
  2. To avoid further damages (e.g., fungi growth or others)
  3. To avoid unpleasant smell

What do you need to do? If you spot some stains

  1. Removing the stain, first clean with a vacuum to clear any dust.
  2. Gently pat or wipe the dirty area.
  3. Pour some bleach (10%) and water (90%) mixture into a spray bottle.
  4. Take the spray bottle and spray down the ceiling. Just one or two sprays will do; avoid soaking the surface.
  5. Let it dry for 24 hours; those unsightly brown spots will have disappeared.
  6. Wipe with a clean, dry cloth, and you should have a clean-looking ceiling.
